MJF is mandated to work in solidarity with poor and marginalized people to help them in gaining more control of their lives as well as creating an environment where both duty bearers and rights holders feel responsible to full-fill their respective obligations. MJF is committed to work in addressing the root causes of poverty and discrimination so that the stakeholders can address these issues in creating a fairer world where people from different background are able to develop their full potentials. As governance is central to the success of all development initiatives, MJF will strive to contribute in the process of improving governance and human rights in Bangladesh through providing financial and technical support to a variety of Civil Society Organization. Through its initiatives, MJF will tap the resources, opportunities and energies existing in society leading to louder voices from the grassroots to help address rights and governance issues.
